Generating inventory reports
As you know by now, the Reports Center in QBO includes several reports that you can generate with just a few clicks. While you can build your own reports, there is no need to. There are six reports that small businesses use regularly to manage their inventory: Open Purchase Order List, Purchases by Product/Service Detail, Inventory Valuation Detail, Sales by Product/Service Detail, Purchases by Vendor Detail, and Physical Inventory Worksheet. Each of these reports can be exported to Excel, PDF, or emailed directly out of QBO. Once you generate a report, the icons in the upper-right corner allow you to export the data into the format you need.
