Print server

Organizations have moved away from the idea of everyone having a printer on their desk, and have moved more toward having a large printing device that is shared by everyone. The computer that controls this is referred to as a print server. This could be a local computer sharing its printer or a server controlling a network-enabled printer. It is imperative that when you are creating a print server, you ensure it has drivers installed for all possible clients that may use the printer.
