Installing OpenCV 4.0.0 on Raspberry Pi

The Open Source Computer Vision Library (OpenCV) is an open source computer vision and machine learning library. The OpenCV library consists of more than 2,500 computer vision and machine learning algorithms that can be used to recognize objects, detect colors, and track moving objects in real life or in a video. OpenCV supports the C++, Python, and Java programming languages, and can run on Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux.

Installing OpenCV on a Raspberry Pi is a time-consuming and lengthy process. There are multiple libraries and files that we have to install along with the OpenCV library to make it work properly. The steps to install OpenCV will be performed on my Raspberry Pi 3B+ model, which is running Raspbian Stretch. The OpenCV version we are going to install is OpenCV 4.0.0.
