In this section, we'll learn about the new discipline of sustainable software, also known as green software engineering, and how it can be used to design applications that can save on carbon emissions. Carbon-saving techniques are also related to cost governance and application optimization, and in some cases, we will learn how the tips and tricks for cost saving that we used previously can also be utilized for building green applications.
