Importing rendered image sequences
In this section, we will import all the rendered sequences into DaVinci Resolve to start assembling our final film. Let’s get to it:
- Ensure you’re still in Edit mode. Then, in the Master panel on the left of the interface, right-click in the empty space and choose Import Media…:

The preferred method of importing will involve importing the film one shot at a time, simply because, in DaVinci Resolve, we intend to color-correct each shot individually for greater control.
- Browse to the folder you created the renders in (e.g,
Final_Renders|Shot_01). From there, manually select the first EXR image, press Ctrl + A to select the rest, and click Open.

- Once the shot is imported, it will be listed in the Media Pool panel. Using the F2 key, rename the shot according to the renders...
