Summary
In this chapter, we reviewed the data sculpting tools available in Domo for creating persistent datasets and how to decide which data sculpting tool to use for data transformation. First, we toured the dataflows page's features before creating new datasets using both the ETL dataflow and SQL dataflow tools. The output of both tools creates persistent datasets that can be stored in Vault. Between the Magic ETL and SQL dataflow tools, there is no persistent data sculpting shape that cannot be created.
In the next chapter, we will look at the in-memory sculpting tools for creating virtual datasets.
