In this chapter, we learned how to read and write WebAssembly. We also gained an understanding of how programs are understood by typical computers. On top of this, we wrote a program that is able to utilize this near-native speed. Finally, we took a look at an existing WebAssembly program and how that relates to the code it was generated from.
By now, we have learned quite a bit about the web development landscape. We have looked at coding in the browser and how we can utilize all of the new features to create feature-rich web applications. On top of this, we have seen how JavaScript can be used as our server-side code utilizing Node.js. Finally, we took a look at how to build and deploy our applications. By now, we should be comfortable building scalable applications and utilizing many of the modern features to create blazing fast applications.
