Maturity model of design patterns

In the previous section, we discussed the audits and assessments of design patterns. These techniques are useful for maturing the design patterns and their adoption as they are also a measure of the effectiveness of a design pattern.

If we talk about the maturity model of design patterns, it can be one way to improve the quality of the design patterns discussed in this book. The design patterns for CI/CD are still evolving. In most cases, if design patterns are adopted, they enable organizations to stay out of the overhead of coordinating, maintaining, and sustaining several different postures for CI/CD, removing inconsistencies and improving the effectiveness of CI/CD in general.
