Summary
Behavior change is considered a relatively new field for UX research, but it is becoming more popular each day, and UX professionals are becoming aware of its importance.
We covered how changing or preventing long-term behavior is much cheaper and much more effective than treating the problem. Also, the really interesting and important topic covered in this chapter was five ways to help users to change or take actions.
As UX designers, we should have a solid understanding of the human mindset and how it works—what motivates people to use our product, their triggers, and how and what we need to design for them so that they can get the best experience.
In the next chapter, we will move on to one of the most important parts when it comes to creating a UI design: design principles and their processes.
