Security has been a key concern for many organizations deciding whether to adopt cloud computing in their IT systems. Key decision makers in firms are holding back from making the decision to move their IT infrastructure to the cloud mainly due to the lack of transparency regarding the security measures employed by cloud providers as well as the lack of familiarity of existing team members with the technology. But the COVID-19 pandemic showed the world how important digital transformation is, and how cloud technologies can enable people to work from anywhere with just a few clicks; organizations that had not completed their digital transformation journey faced difficulties during lockdowns. It's clear that the cloud is not going away and there is no excuse for IT teams not to attempt to gain familiarity with the cloud.
