In this chapter, we looked into one of the most well-known and battle-tested multisig: the ConsenSys multisig wallet. We learned how multiple owners can control a multisig contract and send ETH from a contract to another account. We also looked into how you can allow a multisig to maintain ownership or the role of a target contract. Every transaction on a multisig needs to have multiple signatures in order to be executed, which improves the security of the contract or funds. There are a few other multisig wallets available, but, at the time of writing, the ConsenSys multisig wallet seems to be one of the safest.
