This chapter revealed all the ins and outs of background data processing in SAP that you can face, along with the approaches that are used to handle with them. This technique is used mainly for transferring data from non-SAP systems to SAP systems, or between SAP systems without any direct link to each other. Additionally, it can be applied to the mass processing of data in any transaction.
In the next chapter, we will describe the performance and optimization of the ABAP code. These themes will make working with the system easier and the code that is created more efficient.
