Summary

In this chapter, we extended our use of Amazon Braket devices to a mock multi-objective optimization problem. We showed the process it would take to map real-world problems to quantum devices on Amazon Braket. Without a rigorous mathematical derivation, we were able to leverage D-Wave to provide an optimal global solution. This type of technique may become important as system and business analysts start using Amazon Braket to solve optimization problems, as well as start re-analyzing their business processes in terms of quadratic relationships and global objectives that may not have been considered or ignored in the past due to classical solver limitations.
