Summary

In this chapter, we went through the development of a socket communication client-server application. We went through some basic functions of socket programming on a very low programming level but also on higher levels, using slack API calls and simple HTTP Python libraries. You should be able to add more sensors to your Raspberry Pi Zero W board and adjust your code to automate more things and actions. Your home bot should make your house more secure and smarter! In the next chapter, we will play with cameras and face recognition.
