Tyler: Hey, Fanilo! I just wanted to go ahead and get started; do you want to introduce yourself to everyone? What is your background? What do you spend your time working on these days?

Fanilo: Hey everyone, my name is Fanilo. I’ve been working at WorldLine for the past 10 years, first as a big data engineer then going into business development, then into product management, and then back to managing data science teams. And now I work as more of a developer advocate, for data science and business intelligence internally and externally.

It’s mostly talking to internal teams about how they can leverage data analytics in their payment products and then doing talks externally to promote our data analysis and data science skills.

And then on the side, I’m also a lecturer at a university. I give lectures about big data and SQL. I do demonstrations using Streamlit for lectures.
