What is Zapier?
Zapier is one of the most popular and useful integrations for Slack. In an effort to work smarter, not harder, Zapier serves as the middleman between your Slack channel and your existing data on other apps. Without coding or relying on hired developers to create a tool for you, you can connect two or more applications to automate repetitive tasks with the help of Zapier.
By connecting your external applications to Slack – your unified communication platform – you simplify the need for multiple drives, tabs, emails, calendars, applications; you name it. Zapier works to help with organization as much as it does integration, keeping your workspace neat and functional throughout the workday.
You can find the Zapier app's home page through the Slack App Directory or on your desktop. Zapier's description appears as such in the directory:
