Private servers
Private servers work on a month-to-month subscription basis, allowing players to create their own private dedicated server that they can set up with their own parameters, such as who can join. Private servers can be made free, but many games have also seen success in monetizing off of the monthly charge. This is especially true with games that offer more in-depth customization or added perks within the experience exclusive to private servers. In this recipe, we will be examining how to enable and set prices on private servers.
How to do it…
We will start by opening the experience and enabling Private servers. We will then set our desired price and save our place settings. To begin, follow these steps:
- Open up Roblox Studio to your desired experience.
- Next, find and select the Game Settings icon within the Home tab. This will prompt the pop-up menu to open.
