One of the activities of your application, once live, will be to receive a notification email with details about health, errors, response time, and so on, at least once a day.
Azure Functions provides us with the ability to get all these basic details using a function template with code that is responsible for retrieving all the required values from Application Insights, as well as the plumbing code of framing the email body and sending the email using SendGrid.
