Modeling complex queries using MongoDB Compass

Queries can become quite complex when working with documents containing embedded objects and arrays. In this situation, it might be helpful to use an external tool to model potential queries before committing them to code. One such tool, included in default MongoDB installations, is the MongoDB Compass tool. As a first step, we will demonstrate how to conduct queries on fields within embedded objects. After that, we will move on to data contained in embedded arrays.
