Communicating with the Stakeholders
The term “stakeholders” is very wide and can be used to represent different people at various stages of product development. A stakeholder may be a customer (someone who has purchased the product), a user (someone who is using the product), or a sponsor (someone who is providing resources to support product development). The Scrum Team is free to communicate with the stakeholders whenever required. The Sprint Review is the designated event for stakeholders to inspect the product Increments and provide feedback, but it should not be used as the sole window into product development. The Scrum artifacts must be transparent and accessible to the stakeholders, as they can provide a clear picture of the team’s progress.
