Defining and configuring automation scripts for cost control

Azure automation scripts are a key element of every governance process, including cost governance. Automation runbooks can be scripted with the Azure graphical interface, PowerShell, and Python. Azure Automation can work on Azure, on-premises, and other cloud providers (for example, AWS) to automate tasks. Specific permissions are needed to securely access these cloud resources using the least privilege rule.
