Summary

In this chapter, we discussed IAM, which is the core component for managing identity across a hybrid cloud. We captured the important patterns for operationalizing IAM for users of a cloud platform. We included the key patterns for user management, authentication, authorization, governance, and administration.

In the next chapter, we shall discuss how to tackle the same problems and solution patterns to manage identity in cloud applications.
