The LDP-based MPLS network was fully operational by the end of the previous chapter, and we are now ready to introduce Segment Routing MPLS (SR-MPLS) into the topology. SR-MPLS will be introduced gradually in this chapter and without any operational impact on live traffic, as the same approach is expected to be used in the production network.
