Introduction to ELB

The AWS ELB service delivers a high performance, highly available, highly scalable cloud-based load balancing managed solution. The ELB service provides us with all the features that are required for the distribution of load across multiple instances or containers within our AWS environment. The service has the ability to automatically distribute and detect failures, therefore allowing high availability targets to also be met. The ELB service also integrates with CloudWatch and the EC2 Auto Scaling service to enable the Auto Scaling of our instance clusters according to the load being experienced or the connection increases and decreases.
