Configuring event subscriptions

In the section: Configuring and analyzing Event Viewer logs, you have learned that Forwarded Events displays event logs from remote computers. This is useful particularly for system administrators when analyzing event viewer logs on servers. Because manually connecting to servers on a regular basis can be inconvenient. Thus, event subscription enables automatic collection of event logs from servers. Prior to configuring event subscriptions, it is required to enable Windows Remote Management service on the source computer to allow remote administration. On the collector computer, you need to enable Windows Event Collector service so it can collect events from remote devices.
