Page layout

The page layout determines what the page will look like and is specified in the layout section. The layout contains one or more area sections that define a certain placement on the page.

Page layout controls are placed inside area sections and serve a variety of purposes. Some controls display information on pages. This can be data from the database, static material, pictures, or the results of an AL expression. Grouping controls make it easy for the developer to handle a set of contained controls as a group.
