Summary

Now that we have gone over how to create and work with Observable sequences using RxSwift operators and how to use schedulers to direct where the work is performed, we can look at how to work with Rx APIs that are specific to Cocoa platforms, such as iOS. In this chapter, we covered most concurrent, serial, and operational schedulers; by now, you will have realized that, under the hood, schedulers use queues to perform operations, either GCD queues or operational queues.
