Treating infrastructure as an application

In the evolving landscape of DevOps, the concept of treating infrastructure as applications – commonly known as infra-as-apps – is gaining momentum, especially in the context of GitOps. To understand this, we need to get a quick overview of Infrastructure as Code (IaC). IaC will be covered in detail in Chapter 10.
