As we mentioned earlier, several automotive companies are already implementing ADAS and AV systems in their vehicles. As such, there is a large amount of research and development happening in the space, but this section will introduce you to key terms and concepts so we can proceed further and explore how machine learning is involved here.
First, let us discuss ADAS and AV at a high level. There are several threads of questions from people being introduced to this field leading to confusion, such as the following:
