Summary

In this foundational chapter, the groundwork for the journey into segment routing with TI-LFA was established. Beginning with the construction of the base network topology, essential steps were taken to configure IP addresses on routers. The introduction of IS-IS as the interior gateway routing protocol enabled end-to-end IP routing.
