What is Appwrite?

Appwrite is an awesome open source backend as a service for web and mobile applications, including Flutter. It provides a wide range of features that are essential for building modern applications. Modern applications are content-rich, collaborative, and sync across devices. All of this would not be possible without a solid backend. Appwrite is an example of this kind of solid backend. Also, I think Appwrite is a great complement to Flutter, as they share some of the same qualities. First, both are open source; second, both focus on making the developer experience awesome, and finally, both are simple to work with and integrate well together. Appwrite provides various services, such as authentication, databases, storage, and cloud functions, all of which are accessible via a REST API or a real-time API using WebSocket.
