Repetition
Using repetition in your designs does not mean you have to create boring repeated creations. It’s more to do with staying consistent. It will help someone to navigate and understand your design a lot easier if things all look similar and fit well together. For example, use elements that have the same feel to them. Don’t use a soft pastel floral element and then use a neon comic element within the same design. And if you’re creating a collection of templates for a project or your business, keep everything within them the same style – that is, the elements, fonts, color palette, and imagery – across the board.
The following example of a template pack is using repetition. The same color palette, fonts, and imagery have been used in all of them, creating consistency, yet each one can also be used on its own:
