Real-life example – revisited
We are using the same real-life example as in Chapters 1 and 2. This example is as follows. In a village, households provide services to and receive services from other households. To provide clarity to the exchange of services among households, software was created to keep records of the contract for exchanged services (the “contract”).
After both households have agreed on the services to be exchanged in the contract, each household will need to perform the service. Here are a few examples:
- Repairing a piece of furniture
- Making a dress
- Babysitting a toddler for x hours
- Performing a trick at a party
- Donating a used piece of clothing
- Providing food and drinks
- Cleaning n rooms in the house
