Testing strategy

A testing strategy helps you define testing levels to be conducted during your project implementation. It provides direction to make sure test objectives are covered and understood by all team members associated with the project. For minor projects, we can collapse testing to fewer levels.

Technical and quality software testing helps us verify and validate that the software product meets the proposed solution with respect to documented and prioritized business requirements:

  • Verify: Make sure that the output is accurate, true, and justified to ensure the solution follows standards and meets the agreed upon and documented requirements. This verifies we deliver the solution in the right way.
  • Validate: Check the accuracy of the output, which helps us to ensure the right solutions are implemented that meet the business needs and are usable by the users or the system. This validates that we are implementing the right solution.
