Restoring the topology

Apply the following configuration to remove only the Global Weighted SRLG protection from the P2 router:

  no fast-reroute per-prefix srlg-protection weighted-global

As Global Weighted SRLG protection is removed from P2, it’s not necessary to stop advertising Application-Specific SRLG TLV carrying SRLG information on P7 to the entire network, but it is done for completeness, as shown here.

The following configuration would stop the advertisement of the local SRLG, configured on the P7 router, in the IS-IS router through LSPDUs:
