Setting up a session for motion picture projects
There are certain technical aspects of a motion picture project that are important to consider when approaching a project. This recipe will take you through the setup of a motion picture mix template and discuss the reasoning behind the choices in the setup.
Getting ready
For this recipe, you will need a blank Pro Tools session with one mono track named Beep. As this is designed for motion pictures, having video content to work with helps so an example video file with a universal leader and timecode burned into it has been placed in the sample files on the GitHub page listed under the Technical requirements section of this chapter.
