Understanding copyrights and trademarks
At this point, I wanted to go through a few things on what can and can’t be done with content in Canva. Before we really dive into creating content, it’s good to understand the platform better and how it works.
Licenses and copyright
Canva is a free-to-use platform with a lot of free-to-use content, but every time you use a template, image, or element a license is created in the background giving you permission to use it. This is granted automatically for everything in Pro on the export of the design, and you can purchase a license individually in a Free account for any Pro content.
