Thoroughly enjoyed this course. I had a complete game made in just a few days of after-work learning. The instructor cuts straight to the point in what to do and why we're doing it, along with super brief summaries on how things behave. Looking forward to going through the author's Survival Horror course now that I've finished this one. That course uses an older version of the engine so I was lost trying to start it with UE5. After this course I'm confident I have the tools needed to follow the UE4 course in the latest version of the engine. Finally getting to live my childhood dream of game development :)

This tutorial is very good for newcomers, but i also started your Horror game tutorial and I don't know why this one looks less precise. Your entire level is in reverse, that's why you always need to correct the values. That's why your character goes from -400 to -1600 when you press Right, this should be the Left behavior. Even at the end you see the cars moving backward because the blocks are also made backward. A lot of duplicated work instead of using arrays, for managing the obstacles, something that i would like to learn. The coins make no sense in the gameplay (no high score for coins for example). So yes, overall i learnt things and I like the way you teach stuff. But all the imprecise content broke the trust.

Good tutorial because the game is working but another hell tutorial where just have to follow without your brain. it's to hard to show us how to animate ?? The end of the course is just like copy and past what I'm doing.
