Checking the spelling is probably one of the most fundamental finishing touches. The Spell Checker of Captivate works like any other Spell Checker that's found in any text authoring application.
In Captivate, the Spell Checker has the ability to check the text that's been typed in various locations throughout the project. This includes the text that's typed into Text Captions, Smart Shapes, Slide Notes, Text Animations, Buttons, and the Table of Contents.
Before using the Spell Checker, you will need to take a quick look at its options. You can do this by using the following steps:
- Open the Chapter15/encoderDemo_800.cptx project.
- Open the Preferences dialog of Captivate by using the Edit | Preferences (Windows) menu item or the Adobe Captivate | Preferences (Mac) menu item.
