DR
DR is a critical consideration for any organization to ensure business continuity and resume critical business functions as quickly as possible after unexpected disruptions, such as natural disasters, regional failure, and cyberattacks. You need to define a DR strategy to ensure business continuity; otherwise, you may incur revenue loss or reputational damage, and businesses can fold as a result.
DR for CloudHub 1.0 (multi-region)
CloudHub 1.0 provides automatic DR across availability zones in the same region. We discussed this option in Chapter 9. It is possible to set up DR across multiple regions so that if an entire region goes down, we have other regions to ensure business continuity.
