The governance model and maturity levels

Open source is embedded into nearly every software produced today through direct or indirect means.

We now take a deeper plunge into CD and cloud technologies, which have enabled several modern software practices. Many popular areas such as containers, service meshes, microservices, immutable infrastructure, and declarative APIs are getting contributions from open source communities now more than ever. There are some focused organizations that have helped the community to broaden the impact by providing stewardship to the OSS projects.
