In previous chapters, we have learned how to integrate the WSO2 EI server with the on-premise environment but nowadays is frequently that we need to integrate also with cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) applications. Most of these SaaS applications exposes standard interfaces to consume their core functionalities by SOAP or REST APIs that could be consumed externally by third-party servers like WSO2 EI.
WSO2 provides us connectors that allow us to interact with the functionality of a third-party product from the WSO2 message flow in a fast and easy way for developers.
