Summary
Airflow was designed as an application that has a fairly open and shared architecture; however, with additional effort, you can isolate information between users to make it a multi-tenant environment. There are multiple strategies that rely on architectural and configuration options available to you. While no single option is likely to cover your needs, we hope that a combination of the presented options will help you achieve your security and operational goals. Remember, there is always an option to fully isolate with an additional Airflow deployment!
In the next chapter, we’ll discuss valuable strategies for planning and executing Airflow migrations.
