Technical requirements

As with the previous chapters, you need to have a working pfSense system, in either a real or virtual environment. To work through the examples in this chapter, it will help to have at least one node on the network running at least one application where a low degree of latency is required (such as a VoIP application) and at least one application where latency is less important (such as a peer-to-peer file-sharing application).
