Custom pages
Power Platform allows us to create pages in a model-driven app with the power of a canvas app. These custom pages are another step towards the convergence announced by Microsoft between the different types of Power Apps. They allow us to incorporate components with great design flexibility, such as dialogs, full pages, or side panes.
Custom pages are a low-code option to incorporate components to improve the UI and UX. This enables us to incorporate additional functionality, and actions that interact with the Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement application. However, it’s not limited to Dataverse data, as we can use the Power Platform connectors to integrate data from other applications.
To deploy a side pane or a dialog, we’ll require some development skills since it’s not a no-code/low-code approach.
