Building the application

In this section, we will build our blog. We will be able to achieve this by following the steps given:

1. Starting the server
2. Connecting to the database
3. Creating data models
4. Setting up the router
5. Setting up the views
6. Handling authentication
7. Creating controller functions

Starting the server

We will not go into much detail on this, as it was covered in the previous chapter. To start our server, we will simply insert the following content into the index.js entry file:
