Summary

We had a peek into some internals of our Bash, pidfiles, sessions, jobs, and had lots of stuff to play with. We also introduced parallel and subshell. This is probably one of those chapters that requires a bit of practice. Take time to experiment and try whatever comes to our mind to get confident with the job controls and background processes. Now that we had a look at the processes and how to manage them, we will proceed to see how to make them talk to each other and exchange information. Time for IPC!
