Tracking item changes through list versioning

With multiple people editing the same dataset comes the risk of unwanted changes. Somebody updates an item and sets a value to something that is not correct, not wanted, and so on. Additionally, it becomes more important to see which people collaborated on and contributed to an item, and which changes they made. This is what versioning can be used for. Versioning tracks all changes made to list items and includes information about the person who modified the item and at which time. It also allows you to restore a previous version, and view and delete older versions:
