Keeping an eye on Google Search Console
I like to think of Google Search Console as an early warning system for my website. If something goes wrong and Google can no longer access your website or a page within your website, they’ll let you know.
They sometimes send emails to the site administrator while other times, they’ll have notifications within Google Search Console.
If you can log into Google Search Console once a month to make sure your website is ranking properly, that will help with SEO.
Here are two examples where I noticed a problem early and fixed it:

In this first example, Google noticed I published a new page but for some reason, it wasn’t added to the index. That means it’s impossible to find through the search engine. That’s bad. Doubly so since I spent a month writing this piece!
