Making recommendations to improve the network infrastructure and reduce operational costs
Network infrastructures are not static entities. It changes on a daily basis. As a network architect, you’re tasked with making sure that the infrastructure itself continues to meet the needs and demands of all your stakeholders (end users, customers/clients, and business units). This means finding ways to improve on what you’ve already implemented and, based on those desired improvements, making recommendations.
In order to make recommendations and improvements, the network architect must first assess the current network infrastructure landscape. This assessment should include identifying the network’s strengths and weaknesses, analyzing its performance, identifying any security issues, and identifying areas for improvement.
